Synopsis

In the cold autumn of 1945, the survivors from a batallion of resistance fighters flee to the Pyrenees, trying to escape the Francoist army. Our protagonists are an unlikely group of romantics, dim-wits and idealists. Their lack of any tactical ability and a cruel twist of fate lead them to take a post office by force in a forgotten village: Black Eagles.

The taking of the post office and, later, its provisions, are just the prelude to the terrible events that lie ahead. As was to be expected, the army doesn’t take long to catch up with them, but… there’s an even greater threat lurking in the shadows: Miss Remedios Buendía.

Remedios is an all-powerful woman from the village, the epitome of Catholicism and national patriotism and she is not about to let this gang of rebels get their own way. Reme decides to use every trick up her sleeve in order to eliminate every last one of the assailants. 24 hours. A post office in the middle of the mountains. A battalion against just one woman. Let the battle commence.
